About Me

I am a mixed media artist and graphic designer/web designer living in San Diego, CA. It all began in 1996 with a single rubber stamp…

I have been a papercrafter and card maker for over 20 years. I began as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, then realized there was a much bigger world out there. In 2012 I began working at The Stamp Addict in San Diego. Later that year, I began teaching card classes there as well. In 2014, I had the opportunity to attend an all-day mixed media workshop at Prima Marketing. From then on, I have been in love with all types of mixed media projects, to include book making, canvases, art journaling as well as upping my card making game. 🙂 I really enjoyed teaching mixed media classes, and those replaced most, but not all, of my card making classes until the store closed in 2018.

In the fall of 2017 (during my divorce), I went back to school full time. I have been taking Graphic Design, Web Design, Studio Arts and Photography classes. It may seem that I am spreading myself too thin, but in actuality, all of those disciplines overlap and work well with each other. In the near future, I hope to start my own video blog, as well as create my own digital stamps and digital papers. I am also available to create logos and assist with web design.

Please enjoy my site. I have attempted to separate my crafting from my graphic design work. Regardless of which you are interested in, I hope you will be able to find what you are looking for here at Annie G Studio.
